Privacy Policy

Effective October 6, 2026

FateHive (the “Service”) uses only the information it needs to produce your reading. This policy explains in plain language what the Service handles and what it does not.

1. Information you enter

To produce a reading, you may enter:

  • Date of birth (Gregorian or lunar), time of birth and gender, used to calculate Saju, horoscope, compatibility and MBTI × Saju readings
  • Your MBTI type, used for the MBTI × Saju reading
  • The question you type for Tarot or I Ching, used only to display it back to you

There are no accounts or logins. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or postal address.

2. We do not store what you enter

What you enter is used only to calculate your reading and is not saved in a database. To let you reopen a reading, the result page’s web address (URL) contains your inputs, such as your birth date. If you share that link, the person who opens it can see the same result and the birth details in it, so please share with care. Questions typed into Tarot or I Ching are not included in shared links.

3. Information stored in your browser

To keep the “one draw per day” rule, Omikuji saves today’s slip number in your browser’s local storage. It is not sent to our servers, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

4. Server logs, analytics and cookies

Our hosting provider (Vercel) may automatically process access logs, such as IP address, browser and device type and time of access, to run the Service reliably. We also use Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics to understand which pages are used.

Google Analytics uses cookies to collect statistics such as number of visits, pages viewed, approximate region and device type. We use these statistics only in aggregate and not to identify you. We do not use them for advertising: ad-related storage and ad personalization are turned off.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are switched off by default, so Google Analytics does not set analytics cookies for you. Elsewhere you can block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on, to stop this collection.

5. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell or give your information to third parties. To run the Service we use the servers and tools of:

  • Vercel Inc.: website hosting and visit statistics
  • Google LLC: visit statistics (Google Analytics)

These providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. If advertising, payments or accounts are added in future, we will update this policy first and tell you.

6. Your rights

Because the Service does not keep your personal information on its own servers, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete on your behalf. Depending on where you live, you may have rights over data processed by our analytics providers, such as access, deletion or objection; you can use your browser settings and Google’s tools to manage them, or contact us as described below.

7. Children

The Service does not require sign-up and does not store personal information, but we recommend that children under 14 use it together with a parent or guardian.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with its effective date.

9. Contact

A contact channel is being prepared and will be listed on this page as soon as it is ready.

The Korean version of this policy is the one maintained first; if the two differ in meaning, please contact us.
