What does Direct Resource mean in BaZi?

The Ten Gods describe how every other character in a Saju (Four Pillars, BaZi) chart relates to your Day Master, the “you” of the chart. Direct Resource belongs to the Resource group, and it is paired with Indirect Resource (the same relationship with the opposite polarity).

Direct Resource (Zheng Yin) stands for scholastic luck, the support of others and a stable base of backing.
