How your daily horoscope works

How is a daily horoscope calculated here?

The Moon changes signs about every two and a half days and is traditionally linked to mood, instinct and the rhythm of a day. Each day we find which sign the Moon is in, measure its angle to your Sun sign (conjunction, sextile, square, trine and so on), and read the day through that aspect.

Which star sign am I?

Your star sign is your Sun sign, set by your birth date. The dates are listed above. If you were born on the first or last day of a sign (a “cusp” birthday), the exact hour matters, so a full birth chart is the best way to be sure.

Why does my reading change so often?

Because the Moon moves fast. The reading is refreshed every day as the Moon’s position and phase change, and as the weekday changes.

Is this the same as a newspaper horoscope?

It follows the same star-sign tradition, but we publish a specific, repeatable method rather than general copy, and we explain it on each page.
