No blame“Hesitating and circling; it is fitting to stay put and keep to what is right, and to appoint helpers.”
Start slowly. Stay where you are, keep your principles and gather support.

Line 2 · 六二
Neutral“Struggling and turning back; the horses are hesitating. Not a bandit but a suitor. The young woman holds to her path and does not promise herself; after ten years she does.”
Things stall, and an offer may look like a threat but is actually good. Patience wins in the end.

Line 3 · 六三
Caution“Chasing a deer without a guide, one wanders into the forest. The noble person knows better than to go on; to continue brings regret.”
Don’t pursue a goal without a guide or a plan. Know when to stop.

Line 4 · 六四
Very auspicious“Horses hesitate, but one seeks a match and goes; good fortune, nothing unfavorable.”
If you take the initiative to ask for a partnership, it works out well.

Caution“The blessing is hoarded; small perseverance is lucky, large is not.”
