Indirect Wealth Pian Cai

activity and spotting opportunity

What does Indirect Wealth mean in BaZi?

The Ten Gods describe how every other character in a Saju (Four Pillars, BaZi) chart relates to your Day Master, the “you” of the chart. Indirect Wealth belongs to the Wealth group, and it is paired with Direct Wealth (the same relationship with the opposite polarity).

Indirect Wealth (Pian Cai) stands for money that flows in and out and for business skill. You have a good sense for spotting opportunity and a big appetite, so you are good at moving large sums, and you have the knack of turning a network of people into wealth. Spending can grow just as large, so planned management lets you grow your money luck more steadily.

Indirect Wealth in each pillar of your chart

  • In your Year Pillar (childhood and family): You may have had a childhood in an active household, with a lot of moving and change.
  • In your Month Pillar (career and social life): You suit active working environments where people and money circulate freely.
  • In your Day Pillar (your inner self and marriage): There is an active energy in the spouse seat, so you like a free and sociable relationship.
  • In your Hour Pillar (later life and children): Your range of activity is wide into later life and chances of side income continue.

Indirect Wealth in love and marriage

The energy of active wealth (Indirect Wealth) sits in your spouse seat, so you tend to meet sociable, generous partners. With so much charm and freedom, you need to build stability through trust and communication.

Indirect Wealth in work, money, love and health

  • Work: Chances come in sales, business and outside activity. Widen your network.
  • Money: Money moves in and out in large amounts. Even if income rises, you need spending control.
  • Love: Meetings with new people increase. Meet widely but keep the center of your heart clear.
  • Health: With a busy schedule you easily skip meals and rest.

When Indirect Wealth arrives as Annual Luck

A year when opportunity and range of activity grow

Wealth and opportunity are on the move this year. There can be unexpected harvests in sales, business, investing and expanding your network, but spending grows too. The more you earn, the more you need to check savings and fixed costs together so something is left over.

When Indirect Wealth arrives as a 10-year Luck Cycle

A decade of opportunity and expansion

Your range of activity widens and big money and opportunity move through. It is favorable for business, investing, sales and widening your network, so wealth can grow a lot, but spending and risk grow with it. The key strategy of this period is to move part of your profits into safe assets whenever you earn.

When Indirect Wealth arrives as Monthly Luck

Chances appear and your range of activity widens. Spending can grow with it, so keep an eye on your budget.

This month’s tip: meet people more, but set a spending cap in advance.
