Other Monkey birth years
In your 50s (age 57–58) · Impatience can rise today. Going slowly is actually the faster way.
1968 was a Wu Shen year (戊申), a Wu Earth year. Like a big, steady mountain, you are hard to shake and carry a strong sense of responsibility.
Today’s Heavenly Stem is Yi Wood. Measured from your birth-year stem, Wu Earth, that is the Direct Officer (Zheng Guan) relationship, which shapes the tone of the day for you.
Energy of respect and order arrives. Working diligently by the rules tends to earn a good evaluation from those above you.
The element that nourishes your birth-year stem (Wu Earth) is Fire. For a 1968 birth year, the lucky color is red and the lucky direction is south.
“Do it properly and you are recognized. Neat conduct is today’s luck.”
Today’s Day Pillar is Yi Mao (乙卯). Its Earthly Branch is Mao, the Rabbit. That branch forms a Resentment pairing with your sign. Things can feel slightly “off” for no clear reason, and small hurts pile up easily.
- Today carries Wood energy, which favors new starts and growing outward.
- With the waning crescent, it is a time to wrap up and rest.
- On Thursday, results start to show.

Other Chinese zodiac signs today
Two people with the same zodiac animal can have different Heavenly Stems in their birth years, so their relationship to today’s stem (a Ten God) differs and so does the reading. Birth years follow the Gregorian calendar year; if you were born in January or early February, your Saju chart may count the earlier year as your zodiac year. This reading is for entertainment and reflection, not a substitute for professional advice.
