Other Ox birth years
In your 40s (age 40–41) · Responsibilities simply continue today. Separate what you will carry from what you can put down.
1985 was a Yi Chou year (乙丑), a Yi Wood year. Like grass and vines that bend without breaking, you adapt quickly and keep going with quiet persistence.
Today’s Heavenly Stem is Yi Wood. Measured from your birth-year stem, Yi Wood, that is the Friend (Bi Jian) relationship, which shapes the tone of the day for you.
Energy like your own arrives today. Your confidence is up and you work well with peers, but insisting on your own way can spark small arguments.
The element that nourishes your birth-year stem (Yi Wood) is Water. For a 1985 birth year, the lucky color is navy and the lucky direction is north.
“A kindred energy walks in today: steady and supported, just loosen your grip a little.”
Today’s Day Pillar is Yi Mao (乙卯). Its Earthly Branch is Mao, the Rabbit. That branch’s element controls yours, which brings a sense of pressure and responsibility. Rise to it and you earn respect.
- Today carries Wood energy, which favors new starts and growing outward.
- With the waning crescent, it is a time to wrap up and rest.
- On Thursday, results start to show.

Other Chinese zodiac signs today
Two people with the same zodiac animal can have different Heavenly Stems in their birth years, so their relationship to today’s stem (a Ten God) differs and so does the reading. Birth years follow the Gregorian calendar year; if you were born in January or early February, your Saju chart may count the earlier year as your zodiac year. This reading is for entertainment and reflection, not a substitute for professional advice.
