the energy of being cut off and starting anew. Lots of change and dramatic turns, but a big power for fresh starts.
Strengths of the Extinction stage
Resilience and a talent for fresh starts. You can walk away and begin again when others are stuck.
What to watch for
Instability and cutting ties too fast. Dramatic turns can leave you without a base.
Extinction at work and in love
Work: Career changes, entrepreneurship, turnarounds and any field that rewards a comeback.
Love: Dramatic starts and endings. Connections can be intense and sudden.
How to use this energy
Keep one stable anchor, such as a home, a friend or a routine, while everything else changes.
Where does Extinction fall in your chart?
The stage depends on your Day Master and the Earthly Branch it meets. Each Day Master reaches Extinction on a different branch. In your Day Pillar this shows as your inner energy; in the other pillars it colors the part of life they stand for.
Life Stage readings are simplified interpretations following common Saju practice and differ between schools. They are for entertainment and self-reflection.
