Conception Tai
A new life just conceived: invisible, but everything is already on its way.
What does Conception mean in BaZi?
The Twelve Life Stages (shi er chang sheng) trace how a Heavenly Stem’s energy is born, grows, peaks, fades and is born again as it passes through the twelve Earthly Branches. Conception is stage 11 of 12.
the energy of a new life conceived. A time of preparing and holding something, with potential that is growing.
Strengths of the Conception stage
Potential and a gift for incubating ideas. You hold plans quietly until the time is right.
What to watch for
Unfinished things. Much depends on timing, and ideas can stay in the planning stage.
Conception at work and in love
Work: Planning, prototypes, research and early-stage projects.
Love: The seed of something new. Hope and anticipation matter more than certainty.
How to use this energy
Give the idea a deadline for its first small version. Protect it, but let it be seen.
Where does Conception fall in your chart?
The stage depends on your Day Master and the Earthly Branch it meets. Each Day Master reaches Conception on a different branch. In your Day Pillar this shows as your inner energy; in the other pillars it colors the part of life they stand for.
Life Stage readings are simplified interpretations following common Saju practice and differ between schools. They are for entertainment and self-reflection.
