Commanding Star Kui Gang

Symbolic Stars (shen sha) are extra markers read from particular combinations of characters in a Saju (Four Pillars, BaZi) chart. They describe inborn leanings rather than fixed fate, and schools differ on which stars to use. FateHive uses the nine most widely used.

Seen as the star of leaders and pioneers: very strong, bold, intelligent and decisive. Once you make up your mind you push through to the end, but you lack flexibility and may clash with those around you. If you learn soft communication skills, you grow into a big vessel.

This star belongs to the Day Pillar itself. If your Day Pillar is one of these five, you have it:

• Year Pillar (childhood and family influence): you grew up in a strong family atmosphere and developed great independence early.
• Month Pillar (social life and career): you shine when you take the role of leader or pioneer in an organization.
• Day Pillar (you and your spouse relationship): you are intelligent and strongly decisive with a very distinct individuality.
• Hour Pillar (later life and children): charisma and influence continue into later life.
