White Tiger Star Bai Hu

The star of intensity and dramatic change

What is the White Tiger Star in BaZi?

Symbolic Stars (shen sha) are extra markers read from particular combinations of characters in a Saju (Four Pillars, BaZi) chart. They describe inborn leanings rather than fixed fate, and schools differ on which stars to use. FateHive uses the nine most widely used.

A star seen as bringing events, accidents and dramatic change because its energy is intense, though flipped around, it also means unusual decisiveness and charisma. Many people stay calm in dangerous situations, and with careful attention to safety rules and health, it can be used as a strength.

How is the White Tiger Star found?

This star belongs to the Day Pillar itself. If your Day Pillar is one of these seven, you have it:

White Tiger Star in each pillar of your chart

  • Year Pillar (childhood and family influence): a big change in the family or a strong family tradition may have influenced your childhood.
  • Month Pillar (social life and career): your work environment changes abruptly, but you are all the better at handling a crisis.
  • Day Pillar (you and your spouse relationship): an intense temperament and decisiveness stand out, and there may be dramatic change in your relationship with your partner.
  • Hour Pillar (later life and children): a star that is good if you look after your later-life health and safety ahead of time.

Symbolic Star readings are simplified interpretations following common Saju practice and differ between schools. They are for entertainment and self-reflection.
